Arbosana is a Spanish olive oil variety that is prized for its lovely foliage as well as its high oil concentration. The trees have beautiful, gray-green foliage, a spreading growth habit and are disease and drought tolerant. The fruit is small and tart.

Drought resistant trees grow in alkaline soils with little fertilization. Provide good drainage. Plant in early Spring or early Fall. This tree enjoys warm and humid environments, full sunlight or partial shade. Olive trees do not do well in windy locations. The trees are evergreen, long-lived, beautiful ornamentals with soft, gray-green foliage. Trees can grow up to 30' outdoors in hot climates. In a container on a patio or indoors it will remain compact, measuring 7' - 10' at full maturity, with regular pruning.
