Showy and very fragrant white flowers in the spring the Eureka blooms randomly years round making lemons available almost any time. This four-season special produces less seeds and has a high perfectly acid lemon flavor. The perfect complement to all your citrus needs. The Eureka also has less thorns than other lemon varieties. The fruit is medium to large size and the flesh is juicy and highly acidic, The Eureka likes plenty of summer heat so plant it is full sun for coastal plantings the Lisbon Lemon, a close cousin of the Eureka., is recommended.

Planting & Care
Lemon trees do best in well-draining soil and will not tolerate standing in water. Mound or plant in raised beds if poor drainage is suspected. Mulching helps retain moisture and helps to stabilize the soil temperature during the hot summer months. Requires full sun, 8 - 12 hours a day. Lemon trees are fast-growing and will reach 20' outdoors but can easily be kept 7' - 10' with regular pruning. All Citrus make excellent container plants that can moved to a protected location during the winter in colder climates. The Eureka will tolerate occasional light frost.
