Eversweet pomegranate bears very sweet, large fruits with light pink blushed yellow skin, The light pink almost clear arils are seedless and provide a clear (non-staining) juice. This is a wonderful, flavored fruit that is very sweet, with even immature fruit being sweet. Eversweet pomegranates as with all pomegranates are extremely drought-tolerant once established. This is a long-lived variety that grows well in both the hot inland climates or the cool coastal climates. Eversweet has proven to a good choice for container growing

Pomegranates grow well in any soil that has good internal drainage. They requires full sun, 10 hours a day. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Drought tolerant when established. Does well in arid heat. Pomegranates grow as a bush, but can be pruned into a tree form. They make a beautiful landscape specimens in a Mediterranean garden, with showy red flowers in Summer and dark red fruit in the early Fall. Pomegranates are a great source of anti-oxidants.
