Planting & Care
Lemon trees do well in a rich soil mixture of native soil and grow mulch. Lemons must have well-draining soil and will not tolerate standing in water. Mulching helps retain moisture and helps to stabilize the soil temperature. Requires full sun, 8 - 12 hours a day and consistent moisture. Varigated Eureka Lemon trees are smaller than standard trees and will reach about 15' if planted outdoors. They can be maintianed smaller with regular pruning, and make an excellent container plant. They are very sensitive to cold.
